FOJAM 2023-2024 Registration

Friends of Jane Addams Music (FOJAM) is a parent-led nonprofit. We focus on fundraising and supporting the music directors through program and event coordination. The music program at JAMS is outstanding - our ensembles win state and national awards! These accomplishments don’t happen by accident, but are a direct result of support from the JAMS administration, staff, and just as importantly, from the families of our musicians.

We need you to register each year so that we can create an updated email list for families and caregivers. We inform you of upcoming events and crucial volunteer needs.

The music program at JAMS is only partially funded by the Seattle School district. In order to improve and maintain the quality of this award winning program the Friends of Jane Addams Music (FOJAM) booster club is asking for a donation to support our music programs. JAMS music programs could not run without this funding.

These donations help pay for:

• Purchasing school instruments to enable ALL students to have access to the instrument that they would like to play.
• Repairs to these instruments and piano tuning for our choir pianos
• Purchasing sheet music
• Small-group instruction with some of Seattle’s best professional musicians

This year we'll have another awesome student-designed T-shirt!

Our primary goal at FOJAM is to ensure equitable access to the music program.  We want to make sure that every student who would like to pursue music while attending JAMS has the support, instruction and access necessary to help them reach for their dreams.  FOJAM operates exclusively through donations, please consider a donation to our program.

Don’t forget, many employers match their employee donations!  Please check with your employer to see if you can double your tax-deductible donation to FOJAM. We are a 501(c)3 organization. EIN ID #47-1029355.  Please contact treasurer@fojam.org for more information on employee matching
