We are inviting families to join our FOJAM board for the 2025-2026 school year! Our board is made up of 3 music directors and 7 parents, who all have busy careers and families. Joining the FOJAM board does not take a lot of time. We meet once a month and limit our meetings to one hour to respect our board members’ busy schedules. Additionally, the board shares responsibility to represent FOJAM at music concerts throughout the school year.
We are immediately seeking executive board members to co-chair existing positions with us and smooth the transition to next school year. Prior experience is not necessary.
We also have opportunities for non-executive, task-focused committee chairs that provide support to the executive board. Examples include help with fundraising, field trips, concerts, and community involvement.
At JAMS, we are fortunate to have a wonderful PTSA, committed staff, and active student leadership that provide a great amount of support to our students. This allows FOJAM to focus on providing students equal opportunity to participate in music. We need your voice and welcome new perspectives so that FOJAM may grow and evolve as our community does.
