Band, Orchestra, and Choir Students
Students are required to wear all black clothing and shoes for performances. This helps maintain a uniform appearance for the ensemble. Jeans, sweatpants, sneakers, and crop tops are not permitted, and clothing should be free from noticeable logos. Students who choose to wear dresses or skirts should consider the stage height and select lengths that remain appropriate while elevated. Many students use the same concert attire throughout the year.
Band-Me-Downs
FOJAM’s “Band-Me-Downs” program lets students donate gently used concert attire to JAMS for others to use. To give or request clothing, contact your music teacher for details.
